Monarch's Mutts

Dog Rescue

From rags to riches

We are a group of dedicated volunteers who wish to help dogs in need. We take in dogs that need a new home and give them the love, care and veterinary treatment that they need to enable them, in most cases, to move onto their forever home (adoption).

All of our Dogs are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and fully assessed before rehoming.

We aim to save as many Dogs as we can, giving them a safe place to rest their head, we offer Rescue Back up for life so that any Dog under Monarch's Mutts care is always safe.

Our dogs live with foster families whilst under assessment and we provide all food, toys, vet treatment, flea/wormer and bedding.
We are rescuers, crafters, grafters, carers, fundraisers and educators.
Our Dog rescue was named in memory of Trevor Antill who created the public footpath, The Monarchs Way, a 600 mile walk across England following the Monarch who hid in an Oak Tree.  Walking, conservation and the environment will be a big part of our ethos.
The long term plan for Monarch's Mutts is to walk the 600 mile Monarch's way with our rescue dogs to raise funds for land and kennels, where weary walkers and Dog lovers can stop for cake, tea and Dog cuddles.
